Although the suggested age limits vary from device to device, and everyone is different, we recommend our games to those aged 8 and over. However there is no Maximum and we often have players in their seventies and eighties join in with family and friends and they love it. However for those with smaller children we have added a game for those ideally at least 6 years old into the big arena called Ghost Mansion

All of our session times are for an hour. However in VR depending on game and platform then game time can vary from approx 30 minutes to 45. This gives us time to get the equipment cleaned and ready for the next session. There is also time to complete paperwork, safety brief and kitting out etc too.

Yes! Most frames will fit quite comfortably inside the headsets. If you have particularly large frames however you may like to consider the use of contact lenses if available? Please never hesitate to ask any member of the team to help you get the best fit and view during your experience.

Most of our activities are quite physical so we would definitely advise against heavy boots or heals. Soft comfortable shoes or trainers are ideal.

We are quite strict about our no-running rule, as safety is our top priority. While the possibility of running exists, listening to and adhering to all instructions will ensure this is not a problem. You will see all other players clearly in your headset, and boundaries will appear if you get too close to physical walls.

We recommend a minimum of 10-15 mins before your scheduled start time as this will give you time to meet and greet other team members and get all the paperwork out of the way before we begin.

Yes we have ramps in place and have a disabled toilet too. There is space for wheelchair users to watch but unfortunately where the free roam VR is concerned this would be difficult as the tracking uses both hands and visor tracking. We would be very happy to consider and talk about individual needs though. Certainly our Arcade and race rigs could be configured with advance notice too.

There are always offers on too so you can mix, match and save on mixed activities

In our games lounge and arcade, you will mix with other groups as they arrive and depart, and share the space unless you have booked a private session. However, all of our VR sessions are private. There are areas for those not playing to observe, but the Arena spaces are strictly private.

At present we don’t offer any dedicated party packages however, we do offer a 20% discount on multiple concurrent sessions. The discount will be deducted from the most expensive session. Any discounts due will be calculated after you checkout and we will confirm by messenger the new total due.

At present we only sell refreshments in the form of Hot and Cold Drinks, chocolate bars and sweet tubs

We allow food to be brought in for parties that have booked two or more sessions. However, this should be limited to light snacks, such as sandwiches, and must be kept within the designated table and seating area. All food must be consumed and cleared away within your session time to avoid overlapping with other groups due to current space constraints.

Additionally, we can arrange food for your party or event upon request. Therefore, we recommend making other arrangements for meals either before or after your sessions to ensure that everyone gets the most out of their session time.

Yes, all participants must sign a waiver before participating in any activities at Matrix Arena. You can access the waiver form here. Please ensure that all participants, including minors, have a signed waiver before their session.
